These are wonderful mnemonics some 9th graders at Leland and Gray Union High School in Vermont came up with for their teacher Mr. Whitman. They're to remind us of the most common metric prefixes - kilo, hecto, deka, basic unit (they used "b" or "u"), deci, centi and milli. They're in order from large to small and from small to large.
